May TBR and Exciting Releases

This month I have a lot of books that I really want to read. A lot of them are continuations or finale’s to a series and I just really want to know how it ends! I also have a few re-reads. These are the books I definitely want to get to this month. If I have time left over I will also try to get to some other books.

  • the Heir and the Crown by Kiera Cass
  • the Winner’s Crime and the Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski
  • A Court of Thorns and Roses and A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
  • City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare

March Wrap Up & April TBR

This month’s wrap up is going to be pretty short because I was very busy with work and uni. However, I was able to read a few lighthearted novels. I usually try to read 6 books a month, so I sadly wasn’t able to reach that number. I will be writing reviews for most of these books, so I won’t go into too much detail of what I thought of the books.

  1. First up, I read the Selection by Kiera Cass

I’d like to say I liked this book the most of the three books I read in this series so far. I liked America’s firey attitude and Maxon’s sweet demeanor. However I did find it to get off to a slow start. But once I got into it, it was a nice quick read.
  2. Afterwards, I of course read the Elite by Kiera Cass.

I found myself getting frustrated with this book a bit more than with the other books in this series. I also would have hoped to have a bit more action in this book. However, I did like the book and will be continuing the series.
  3. I also reread Divergent by Veronica Roth

Still loved it 🙂 Not much more to say. If you haven’t read this book yet, I highly recommend it!

So like I said, I didn’t hit the six books I usually try to read. However, I will have more time to read in April, so hopefully I’ll be able to read six or maybe even more books then. I haven’t planned out all the books I am going to be reading in April. But I have decided on a few. I will be reading the One by Kiera Cass, the Heir by Kiera Cass, Aurelia by Anne Osterlund (I know it’s an old novel, I just saw it on my shelves and realized it was still on my tbr) and Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard.
For the rest I am not sure yet. So if any of you have some suggestions, let me know!
